Ive just ordered my 2 tickets with pit walk and grandstand seat

Any ideas on what that extra £12 for the pit walkabout is for? Aside from a walkabout obviously!

I'm assuming that the cars will be almost touchable with most of the drivers on hand? Never been in the pits before so don't know!

It depends - some of the promoted series have a requirement that the drivers have to be out and/or signing autographs, some of them don't. the car's are likely to be in the garages with barriers across the front of them, some of the teams may be happy to let kids go in front of the garages to have their pics taken.

I'd imagine that the paddock will be closed other than for pit road walkabout so I'd imagine it's worth paying the extra to get up close and personal!

If it's anything like the BTCC walkabout, the track will close at lunchtime so anyone who stumped up the extra can trundle across to the pit lane and wander down to the garages for autographs & close-up grid girl leering

I suspect the cars will be in the garages.
