...Tokyo?

I'm off there next month and I know they have a lot of kit before it's available in Europe/States.

If anyone knows of a good (£500-800ish) DSLR thats available ONLY in Japan at the moment I'd love to hear about it.

I think it's all pretty much the same at the moment, product-wise. You might be able to buy a D200 off the shelf, but that's over your budget.

Funnily enough I was going to ask the exact same question. I'm off to Tokyo/Yokohama at the end of the month and was going to be on the look out for a nice cheap D200.. I don't have a lot of time, so it seems unlikely i'll get to shop around, but i'll be armed with a credit card and currency converter!

Japan often have different names for the camera (350d-> kiss) and sometimes a different body colour but pretty much there the same cameras as available elsewhere.

Prob get a 30D before the rest of the world tho if canon float your boat.
