Bit different for me. I find things wrong and they don't fix it! Been back 4 times this year- 3 times in the last 10 days!

Long time since I have posted but feel I have somthing to ad here and my comments suprise me.
I have had a long standing love hate relationship with OPC's so far I have 120,000 miles in water cooled porsches all with OPC's, some times they are crap some times they are great. Recently they have got better and better take courtesy cars I used to get audi A4 then Saabs then audies A3 with the odd boxter or cyanne? once even a CNTurbo most recently a CN3.2. I have to say they are not to bad certanly better than any rangrover / disco I have ever driven.
Warentee issues sorted great only issue was an exhaust back box paid for by me with good will contribution from porsche.
one RMS sorted under warentee (clutch changed for free paid parts only)
Find an OPC that will work with you and stick with them and keep talking to them nicely works for me I use AFN.

You'd be better off going to Crispin Manners at Oaktree Garage

oh ha ha! crispin was closed, i needed a tyre!

to be fair to the OPC, they played very fair. here's the sequence;
1) large metal bolt in rear tyre
2) both rears borderline anyway, just as well to do both
3) fronts look worn unevenly, oh well, might as well do all four
4) since I'm doing all four, best to get proper geometry done
5) no one (and I mean NO ONE) in taunton can source Pirelli PZeros in the next week, but OPC can so...
6) booked for 4 tyres + geometry. then the call, "er, there's a reason your fronts are worn oddly, your front struts are stuffed, need new ones before doing geometry"
7) so one £125 pirelli becomes 4 pirellis + new front struts/castor bushes + geometry = £1500.

but i still love love love my porsche............

and the Porsche Centre is full of LOVELY cars

Hmmm....
