Tired Griffith interior, any ideas ?

I have recently boughty my first TVR, a 1994 Griffith 500, the car is great apart from the interior (and one or two other wee problems)The seats either need re-connalised (spelling) or replacing. I believe Cerbera seats sit higher in the car, being quite tall I dont really want this, is there any other options ? The interior carpet also needs replaced, does anyone know of a company that sells a carpet set for the Griff ?? and any idea of prices, or should I try and get some carpets from a specialist breakers ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you look up coverdale carpets on the net or do a search on the griffith forum i believe there was mention of some one getting a carpet set from coverdale sometime in febuary as they have the pattern he did post a couple of times to say how he was getting on

If you like the seat design then a breakers might be the best place to find a pair - though you have to consider colour!

As for carpets, I'd get new ones made and fitted, although I can't recommend anywhere as I've not needed to do this.

got my griff re carpeted at Tower View last year. They did a great job. Makes a big difference. From memory the seat in my cerbera were better than the griff ones, i think also zertec used to do some nice upgraded seats.

Cerbera seats do indeed just drop in to a Griff. I installed them in mine and the process is documented here

The very last section of this is called Size Matters and talks about the difference in height of the Griff and Cerb seats as well as a way of calculating how much headroom you would have if you put in Cerbera seats.

For what my thoughts are worth, I would decide if you want to put Cerb seats in first, then anything else you want to sort out in the interior can be done to match the seats.
