Remap in the SE?
Discussion
Hi all,
I'm trying to find somewhere to do a custom/live remap on my 993 (VR).
I put RSRs on it a few months back and I'm pretty sure it's not fueling correctly now. I'm not altogether surprised about this, I know it's quite common to have a remap after changing any intake/exhaust components.
I'm a bit dubious about replacement chips, I don't subscribe to the "one size fits all" methodology, so I'm looking for someone who will do a proper remap on the rolling road.
I've contacted Ninemeister and they do this exact service, but they're just a bit too far away from me (although they sounded like they know exactly what they're talking about!)
I was just wondering if anyone can give any recommendations for someone to do this in the South East, I'm in Hertfordshire.
Any advice gratefully received,
Si

I doubt the RSR's would make any difference at all, on back to back rolly road session I lost a small ammount at top end,,,,but hardly worth mentioning.....make sure all ignition components and air filter are in perfect order first...i am sure weltmeister, west or amd could accomodate you on the remap front.
Thanks for the quick replies guys.
I spoke to JZM about it (they fitted the RSRs for me) and they said they have seen similar loss of driveability and power after fitting RSRs, backed up by before and after dyno runs.
Their recommendation is to just put it back to standard, but I'd be very sorry to lose the lovely sound!
