Supercharging a 944S2
Discussion
I'm thinking of getting a Supercharger fitted to my 944S2 and I've been looking at SFR and Huntley Racing in America. I got in touch with the Ninemeister and he is currently fitting a SFR kit to a 968 engine that is going in a 944. Does this belong to anybody on here or does anybody else own one?
I'm looking for recommendations as to which kit to use / who to fit it and what kind of results I can expect.
Any advice appreciated.

I've been following the postings on Rennlist very closely, what is concerning me is the lack of feedback from people who are running the kits. They have been on the market for over a year now and apart from the "Exotic Horsepower" car , I've yet to see ANY reports. Even Mike Mui's car ( Exotic Horsepower ) was extensivley modified before the supercharger was fitted so I can't really compare any results he has got. Also last time I heard it was back in the shop to have a MAF kit fitted.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the one Ninemeister is doing goes.
I'll keep you updated

I haven't seen the owner of the Ninemeister car post on Pistonheads, but he has posted on www.titanic.co.uk/944
I believe the car will be entered in the Porsche Open this year. A 944 bodyshell with S/C 968 engine should be interesting
There are many 944 owners (and 968's too) following the progress of Ninemeister with this car. SFR in the States bill this product as DIY bolt on and charge 5k dollars, which should equate to approx 4k pounds including all taxes/ import etc (if you have the courage to DIY)

www.968.net has a discussion about the SFR kit fitted to a 968
I have been in the car Colin has for conversion at Donnington and it was stunningly quick in NA form. It went past everything
My advice: Unless you have a lot of time and money buy a turbo
