SCAM ITEM on EBAY

When you click the item you are redirected to a screen which looks like you've been logged out of ebay and need to log back in - the URL is:-

I'd be interested to know how they have done it - certainly seems more sophisticated than the typical e-mail phishing scam.

Why don't you report it?

When I find things like this I report them to e-bay through their help pages an if it's a problem they'll remove it. I'm bidding on something right now so I'm not going to check it out but you know which item it is so get it deleted.

I already reported it before I posted here

Didn't throw up any trojan alerts on my AV - I'd better check things out!!

I picked up on it as well Roy,only reason I knew things were not right was the script they were using is not the usual eBay script.!

E-Bay what to**ers, I must report five items a week to them.

I was ripped off six months ago, Silly me lost £2500. from a scam, anyway the class thing is the police were involved two major banks and the fraud squad, but e-bay let them continue to trade and still do to this day. Theres nothing like looking after your good honest customers
