Noticed this mini dv camcorder on Comets website for only £299 - and ordered one already .
I was looking at the MV850i (£275 on Amazon) as it's got the all important AV in for a bullet cam, but the 30i seems better/comparable, is there anything I'm missing though?
I've got 7 days to take it back if I don't like it, opinions welcome cheers.

You mioght well find that the 7 day return does not apply to camcorders and the like, as folks just "borrow" them for weddings etc.
MV850i is a good cam. You might find that the 30 is the same cam thats been renamed for commet. Does it still have the wide converter and av in and dv in/out?
Sounds good.

Agreed, their normal policy is no returns on camcorders. As it's bought as mail order though, I've got 7 days under the distance selling regulations, woo hoo!

No wide angle converter AFAIK. I'm planning on using a bullet cam on the motorbike, but for everyday use is it worth having?
Yes to av in/out and dv in/out.
