Whilst sitting in the jam caused by the M1 closure this morning (an hour and a half to do a 15 min trip!), I was playing with the heater controls and noticed that if the face level vents were open and aimed straight at the back of the car - the rear window demisted! Might be useful for those braving the elements in their Wedges.

Good idea!

I'll give it a go tonight, those centre vents do pack quite a bit of punch.
Although, with the air blowing out of the middle vents, how do you keep your windscreen clear

For the windscreen, use rainx anti mist on the inside. Works a treat. Says on the tin not to use on plastic but I have heard someone say they have?

The larger volume of air moving around the cabin seems to help clear the front screen also.

And you get to feel the wind in your hair even with the hood up!
