I need a bit of help from the windows experts. I have taken a number of pictures of gardens we have built over the last few years and put them into a word document. The original pictures are on a laptop that is now dead.

I am trying to get the pictures back out of the document so that they can be saved in the pictures folder. I was expecting to be able to right click and then select save as. Unfortunately that option isn't there and if I try to copy the picture into the picture folder it just appears as a scrap item.

Can someone tell me how to do it.

Many thanks in advance.

Well one way of doing it is to open word and paint which is on the accessories menu in XP.

Right click on the picture in word you want to save and select copy. Switch to to paint and select edit/paste on the menu . You should see your picture appear. Select File save as and save it as type Jpeg. Repeat for each picture you want to save.

How about:

Right click

Copy

then, Open "Paint" (or similar)

Edit - Paste.

File - save as

Or... save the word document as a web page (an option under 'file' in word) which ever folder you save it into will then have another folder with the images in.
