Urgent oil level help please

Hi chaps - just checking the oil on my cerb - one side of the dipstick shows just above top, one side shows just below the bottom level - which is the true one??? I don't wanna over or underfill the car!
I've got a digital oil gauge in the car which is showing about 68/70 at cold on idle, falling to about 40 at idle when hot.

The pressure sounds about bang on. Mine read from 60-40

I think I've got it sorted now. just took a while to figure out what reading was right

Getting a reading on the stick is a bit of a 'mare. Some say best way is to leave the dipstick out overnight, which does work, but you only really get one crack at it
