Sorry for interloping onto the Griff forum from Tuscans but bear with me, I have good reason.
Oldest son looking for a Griff - has about £14/15K to spend. He has had a long chat with NCS
(dont buy a Tuscan!!), is now even more sold on Griffs and is on the hunt for that perfect Griff.
He is viewing one this weekend but as a concerned Dad, am worried he will get carried away with Griffitus lust and buy the first one he sees.
His insurance is sorted at a very reasonable rate (thanks Mr Tesco) and he is champing at the bit.
Unfortunately, I am off abroad for a week so cannot view the cars with him and try to dampen his enthusiasm for the first one he sees. Hope there are not too many
out there.

If his name's Andy then he came to look at mine this afternoon! Surely can't be coincidence that he had a father who has a Tuscan and said he'd got a decent insurance quote from Tesco 
Seemed like a top bloke but I forgot to say a couple of things in that regarding the insurance, my car's actually eligible for Classic Car insurance so he'd be well advised to try getting a quote from Classic Line amongst others. And lastly I was going to point out that residual values for mint condition griffs tend to hold up very well so if he were to buy it, it won't depreciate very much at all. Oh and I hope my driving didn't bother him

Sorry about slow response. I was in the USA last week.
Yup -Andy is my son and he was very impressed with your Griff. Thanks for showing it to him.
He has not bought a car yet and is still thinking about yours and one other he has seen but reckon his mind is more on the cartlidge operation he is having this week.
