Oblivion for PC or 360?
Discussion
The PC will be the daddy in the end, purely because you can upgrade the graphics card later and it will look even better than it does today, extra memory will mean it will load faster, the view distance can ultimately be further and you've got all the user created mods (and the toolkit that comes with the game to make your own tweaks) so if you've got a bit of a beastly PC then plump for that mate.
Well I am a massive gamerscore whore on live so the points are welcome, as for other bits on live, there are no plans for any sort of multiplayer stuff, but we will be getting expansions and stuff like armour for horses made available via the marketplace (how much this stuff is I have no idea yet) Most of the gamerpoints available involve joining various factions in the game and advancing through the ranks.

PS Bob, you sorted out your broadband for 'live' yet?
Which means live PGR again and live GRAW
Back on topic, which system are you swayed towards? I wonder if the PC version will save you a tenner? I dont know what oblivion offers to live play, but the chances of cheats on the 360 version of online play will be greatly reduced. Will there be an online mode?
I have always found, as long as you have a decent PC that is, the PC games to be much better value for money - sure, sometimes they need patches, but they also can have a shed load of free add-ons (IL2 Sturmovik being a classic example!), plus, they're almost always at least a tenner cheaper than the rip-off priced console equivalents.
It will be more precise with the keyboard and mouse yeah, especially trying to pick things up, plus you'll be able to map more controls to the keyboard, although the 360 pad is supposed to be excellent according to the previews i've read. Another reason i'm plumping for the 360 is because working with a mouse and keyboard all day has left me with the usual RSI style pains in my wrists and I find any extended usage leads to discomfort, whereas i'm fine with any sort of gamepad.
Bloody hell chaps, I was all set to buy the 360 version, now you've got me wondering and Im undecided again
Money aside, praps the PC version might be the best choice
Ive got a 3.4ghz pc with 2 gigs of ram, and a radeon x600 series graphics card. Gone are the days that I read graphics card reviews, but I'll guess that the 360 has the edge. Its been a long time since Ive played an up to date game on the PC so to be fair... im not really sure. Advice, anyone?

Ive got a top spec pc and a 360. I'll be getting the 360 version, as there is a lifetime of play to be enjoyed, and I'd rather do it from the comfort of the couch and save myself having to patch the game. Im biased with a new 32" widescreen telly and 360 though
looks like their are a few of us around. Add me as well and I would get the 360 version also
Bethesda (developer) is shipping it out everywhere today, so it will be in American stores tomorrow, and as is the tradition in the UK the game will be out on friday. If you really can't wait then i'd suggest ordering it from Gameplay as you'll have it in your mitts by thursday (they sent out fight night even earlier and people had it on the wednesday, so there's a small chance that could happen).
