number plate lights

working on my 400 today any checked my no plate lights o/s was not working
removed lights and found no wireing to the o/s one
removed covers from inside the boot and no wireing at all to the light seam someone at the factouy forgot to wire it up
so for 14year and 11 mots its never worked
i think i will leave it as it is and see if it noted on the next mot
