Geometry check

Aim to get the geometry checked in the next month. Can anybody recommended any specialists in the south east and suggest how much the check itself would cost? Would prefer not to use the OPC for obvious reasons......

Cost me 170 quid at a Midlands independent specialist this week - a lot more than I would have guessed, and there didn't turn out to be much wrong - kidding myself though that it's driving better.

JZM & Parr are both in the South East & will do a very good job - at a price. However, I personally would not pay to have the geo done & not be told the settings.

RSR Engineering can help you at probably 1/2 the above charging & with out all the secrecy bull.

Think an OPC charges c £200... but you do get a nice little print out

JZM charge £220 + VAT for a full 4 wheel alignment - WITH before and after print outs.

Highly recommended.

Is that a full geometry set up - Camber, castor, toe in / out?

Yes - the full works. Chris Boys really knows his stuff and will adapt the alignment specs to suit the reality of the car - i.e. suspension and wheels etc. Their alignment machine will print out the specs for each parameter showing the min/max and actual. Have a look at a chart from my car here.
