Well finally sprayed and laquered the engine bay, so it's a bit smarter (still got to finish the front but ran out of clearcoat
)
Put everything back in places where I could remember they went. Filled up with water took battery of charge and turned key
It fired and rumbled erractically and then after a few seconds once oil pressure came up it roared into life. Very loud in the garage, good job I had the door open this time.
Let her warm up till the fans cam on and only one little water leak due to a loose jubilee clip.
Gave it some welly in the garage just to make friends with the new neighbours
Tempted to take it of the stands and drive it down the road, but no tax and I'd probably get pulled. Especially as the bonnet is still in the back garden
Oh well time to start to clean and inspect the chassis again tomorrow, or the brakes on the WSV or carry on fixing another project on the go in the drive if the sun stays out
