you know the engine as used in the Noble, well how much would on cost to buy???

or would it be cheaper to build it???

also anyone got any ideas on how much they weigh???

The engine is based on the Ford Duratec used in the Mondeo in both 2.5 and 3.0 litre form. I doubt you could buy that engine direct from Noble with loose change but you could probably build a similair lump for a lot less.

Unless you have space restraints I wouldn't bother with it. You could turbocharge a Cosworth 24v and get over 300 hp from a few pounds of boost on a stockish engine. Or if you have the space just fit a bigger engine such as a rv8 and blow that.
