Replacement rear silencers for 993RS
Discussion
Hello to all, can anyone vouch for any good sporty sounding, but not too loud rear silencers for a 993 RS?
I have tried the cargraphic silencers in the car but found there was no great improvement in the sound.
As I live in Jersey I can legally go cat-less,but was wondering if this would be too noisy and perhaps also hinder the performance??

I've got Robin Sun's RSR exhausts which are a modified version of the standard exhausts.
You can read all about it at www.p-car.com and there are testimonials as well.
I got mine from his European contact, www.carnewal.com
They send you the exhaust boxes, you try them on the car, if you're happy you send him the money plus your old exhausts, if not you just send him the exhausts back. Worst case you don't like them it'll cost you about 30 quid in postage.
What i will say though is that they aren't THAT loud... personally i love them cos they're loud enough for me to actually hear a flat six (with the standard exhaust that is difficult) and they're not too intrusive for distance work either.
I would also recommend a motorsound airbox if you don't already have one. I got mine for 80 quid from JZ Machtech and use it all the time. Bets part is that you can put the standard (quiet) air box back on in 3 minutes if you want to (long motorway trips, etc).
There are plenty of RSR converts on both Rennlist and on here, i am just one.
Hope this helps.
