Hi

On the B480, Watlington Road, just outside Black Bird Leys, Oxford, there was a camera van parked on the grass verge. The van did not have any wheels on the road.
Where the van was parked, there is double yellow line.

My question is:
Can this van can lawfully be parked there?
If no, I assume all the fine he might have collected are void?

(Anticipates correction) --think you will find little get out clause on things the public motorist can't do but this lot can ,hiding under the guise of a "vehicle on police business"
Bout time this lot were done with for pretending to be police ( or perhaps given an Oscar for acting as road safety experts)

Actually I believe this is allowed because it's the local council who permit the scammers to park there.

Certainly was the case as far as Reading went when I complained. The bus companies also allow them to park in their bus stops
