Worked out a simple tweak that works well on a T350 (and Tams & Sags assuming they're the same oil tank/ducting design?)
It blocks the cold airflow that's ducted so effectively to the bottom 1/3rd of the tank. Takes 15 mins to cut & fit, 5 mins to remove when Summer returns.

Makes a huge difference to oil temp - had +70C in 2-4C ambient temp after 20 mins 70mph driving several times this week, where normally it struggles to +50C after 30 mins.

You simply need a very slim, slightly flexible panel 615mm x 150mm (I used foamex from a sign shop - as used for estate agent's signs) with a 70x70mm cut-out to top of nearside to clear a water hose.

Remove the offside wheel, & slide in front of the tank across the space between the chassis tubes. Don't even need to tie it in as it's held between the tank and chassis, and held at each end behind chassis uprights.

Haven't tested above 110mph, but worst that could happen is just folding back around the edges with wind pressure.

Tried insulation last Winter but insulated top of tank instead, airflow is to bottom. Doh.

Pic link may work....

Thanks for pic edit!

Pic is from under front looking back; the air flows upwards to the oil tank, which is now behind the white plastic panel in the pic.
