First post so be gentle....

Just put the deposit down on a 40th Anniversay 996 (from Nick Whale). Was a bit of a "heart over head" purchase but hopefully it'll be good fun.

I'm having it serviced at Porsche as a pre purchase check then getting the warrenty extended. Hopefully not, but anyone know of any reason why MV04 F*M might not be such a clever purchase?

Thanks to all those who've posted advice in the past...i've certainly over-loaded the "search" facility in the past few months!

I'm surprised that Nick Whale doesn't have the warranty/inspection covered as he owns Porsche Centre Solihull.

Indeed...my thoughts exactly. They did offer a warranty but I'd prefer to extend the Porsche one. They were happy to get the car serviced (needed one anyway in 1k miles) at Porsche and use that as an "inspection". Nick Whale inspect their cars but i just wanted a second opinion for peace of mind. Hopefully it's going in at the begining of the week and I'll be in it soon!

Will post pics soon... Don't want to tempt fate though...

Besides, need your opinion on whether to fit a spoiler or not...
