Yep, excellent day, many thanks Craig!

All I need to do now is find out where all my turbo boost is going, or at least Mercedes do!!! I could hear it wooshing out from behind the dash!

Best was 184mph

Big thank you from me too Craig and team, great day and despite the spectacular grass tracking the 550 is in good shape even the tracking is ok!!! Had a great day only got 171 but only 4MPH less than last time but I am certain the High Octane fuel and the additive had alot to do with it.. I will get 180+ on a neutral wind day certain of it cause I think that headwind was costing most people a good 10-15MPH..

Cheers

Thanks a million Craig, for making my month!

Although obviously the slowest (121mph) car there I had an absolute hoot in the corners, and I hope I gave everyone a laugh with my commitment!

4 new tyres are needed, a complete front rebuild with stiffer suspension, strut brace and some spare track day tyres are in order I think

Big up to Alec who didn't scream (at all actually) when we had a small moment on the corner after the beams - all gracefully collected

Looking forward to seeing some piccies - well chuffed I'm lifting the inside rear wheel!!!

Cheers everyone!

What can I say - brilliant day, well organised and thanks to everyone for making a newbie welcome (and breakfast ;-) )!

Roll on the next one, sans head-wind!

My thanks to Craig and the rest of the team for the opportunity today.
As others have said the head wind...Doh!, but the tea wagon was a saviour.
No off's, 10mpg and 172mph in the ragtop
