I have a 1994 chim and want to know what donor car the fan relay switch that is located at the bottom of the swirl tank is from? offers of advice most appreciated.

I think you mean the otter switch, couldn't tell you off hand where it came from , but you can get a kit consisting of a otter switch, thermostat and waterwetter from leventechnology.com for around £44,
Did you stop the fans from running constantly , i had to renew parts of the wires on mine as they had melted and fused together causing the fans to run continually.

I havent stoped the fans from running,but i had a mechanic pull one of the wires from the switch and he told me that was the problem. Are these switches avaliable over the counter at a good motor factors?

It's from a 1994 Griff or Chimaera. Get one from a TVR dealer or specialist. The Range Rover ones will fit but don't turn on until the engine has boiled over and in one case probably before it is lunched the engine. The switching temp is critical.
