944 Door Handles
Discussion
Anyone know where I can get a pair of used 944 door handles (preferably with the Porsche script) for a 87 944 turbo with the central locking gubins?
The trigger bit has broken on my drivers side handle and I don't seem to be able to find them anywhere and I can't get a new MOT until I've replaced it. (I'm having to drive a Polo at the moment and it feels like it's going to fall over every time I go round a corner
)
Cheers

Try Lodge Sports too, their website is not working for me.

Thanks for the contacts, I've tried both and no luck.
Yep it's the outers I'm after. I got a VW version from a local breakers the internal were slightly different - I suspect down to the central locking bit. Probably time to have another lock as Porsche script ones seem to be pretty scarce.

Cheers for the pointers gents but I've just got a pair off a bloke advertising other 944 bits on ebay. They don't have the Porsche script but will do for the moment.
The trigger bit looks to be held in with a rivet rather than a screw which will make canabalising these to fix the original tricky but I may give it a go. At least I now one key to open both doors even if I'll need a seperate one for the ingnition - can you get barrels re-keyed?

The barrels on those consist of a load of flat discs with holes in. You need to arrange so they do not stick out of their retainer when the key is inserted if my memory serves me correctly. You should be able to swap over the discs from one handle to the other.
Forgive me if not the case on those handles, around 10 years since I last had 1 apart, but if memory serves correctly not an impossible task. The trigger part of the handle always used to break off.
