I have had a new set of 18" spider alloys fitted to me Tam last friday, with Toyo tyres. What a difference to the ride and handling. People say that it is a better ride with the 16" alloys. But I beg to differ on this. Also the oil leak in the Tam was the oil pressure sender unit. Have had this changed, and the leak has stopped.

Those 18" alloys look better on the Tam than those 16" ones ........

The oil pressure sender unit on my tam is also knackered and giving incorrect read outs.

As for the 16s and 18s, Ive been advised that 16s are better at avoiding tramlining. However there are other contributory factors eg tyre pressure, worn tyres and shocks. I happen to have all 3 and mine is badly tramlining.

All to be sorted by torque rvt.
