Just thought i'd bring the idea of a GT Legends lan meet back to attention!!
If we think about it now, and give plenty of notice, maybe we will all be able to turn up.. I just think it's a bloody great idea

Come on get some suggestions rollin' in..

I think we would be in danger of being really, really geeky if we did this.

....well, yeah, we are really geeky, not quite [yet] really, really geeky

An hour or so during an evening sat at home playing games is one thing. Spending the day sitting in a dark room with headphones on playing the same game I play in the evening is another step

....plus we'll get to actually meet each other and realise what an uncool bunch we really are

Speak for yourself

I think it'd be quite good.. doesn't have to be a 'traditional' LAN meet where there are the outcasts of the PC World employees taking it so seriously.. would be a for GTL!
The idea usually encouranges people too..

Nah,I'm only a thin lad, 6 cans of stella and I'd struggle to face the right way let alone race.

How about a weight penalty system where we have to drink an amount of alchohol proportional to our bodyweight and then..... ok i'll stop now.

Id probably be up for this.

Im in the midlands so anywhere reasonably near is ok for me.

Although I may need a bigger car to fit my PC in.

In a fair world Ian would weigh around 55st.

To be perfectly honest I never ever drink.....
A single can of shandy would pretty much finish me off, let alone 6 cans of strong stuff

But what if PVA turns out to be a really hot chick I've spent months taking the mick out of him and could well have blown my big chance.

Looks like three of the regulars (Unc, FWD and AJ) are going to be at Pistonfest anyway watching the 24hr 2CV race

I'm more than happy to meet in Towcester (I only live 10 miles away), maybe we should do it in the Silverstone Porsche dealer and mount our screens on GT3 dashboards To be honest I can't see us playing an actual game, sounds too complicated, but a get together for some grub, shandy and tyre kicking in the car park sounds good.

I was actually asked by a friend (last year) if I wanted to race in it but said no, he's not racing either now all the same. I think said something about "does it have a V8?" then walked away shaking my head
