Copied this from a previous message. My local garage found this no problem, charged me a fiver to do it.
"In fact the noise comes from inside the bell housing from the clutch release mechanism. Depending on the model year the bell housing may have a inspection hatch at the bottom of it (mine did 99, T Reg) They pulled this off (so no gearbox drop needed, but access is very tight) and basically lubricated everything involved. Not only has the squeak gone but the whole release seems a lot smoother"

I used to live in the Caribbean 2years In St.Lucia and over 3 in the BVI, but up and down the islands regularly as we ran charter boats. Trying to buy and move back to St.Lucia land based.Bounty is Good Rum and Chairman's reserve. Denros Strong is good for no hangovers though and hammered instantly
, like to have a Piton or 2 mid day though. Nearly bought a house in Coubaril up on ridge road by the Benedictine Monastery
Oh and the clutch sorted its self , I replaced the fluid lubed up the arm/ plate e.t.c on the clutch and it was still the same, but over the weekend the oil must have run down on to the pivot and bingo no more squeak.
Good to talk, must catch up with each other at a meet.

I used to live at Malgretoute(in spite of all). Dad used to be the local Doctor. Nearly built a place on Malgretoute beach, still a possibility although the owner who is an old friend won't sell the land only lease it. Maybe one day! Where abouts in the country are you? I'm in West Sussex. Cheers!

Malgretoute hey right by the Pitons, nice!
. Must say my best place in the world is sat a Ladera looking out.I was there in Lenny 99' when it all got mashed up, not nice.Glad they sorted that road to the Airport, now the other needs doing !.
I am in North Wales www.abersoch.co.uk , it's the closet i can get to St.Lucia.
Had my hand operated on in St.lucia pinned as it was broken , wonder if it was your Dad. That was Castries though upstairs in a building near the Wallcock square. Had to go and see Andrew Richardson at Tapion as the Victoria hospital said it was it would be fine. I took a look at the x-ray and could see it was a tricky break. So off i went to see Andrew as I new him from St.Lucia sailing club . So yes it needed pinning, the guy in Castries did a great job.
Hope you get that Land built on . The prices have gone up a lot with the Cricket pending, I wonder what will happen after the hype has passed ?.As there is so much building going on.
speak to you soon
