Danica Patrick

Someone on one of my forums just mentioned someone called 'Danica Patrick', apparantly she drives in the Indycar series. I've never heard of her, just wondered if anyone else has and whether she's actually any good? What struck me was that she's the first female racing driver i've seen who doesn't look like Ralf Schumacher!

She is obviously a good driver, as anyone who has made it to high-level racing formulae are. Certainly, she showed good promise in junior formulae, and later on was mentored by Bobby Rahal -- so she's had good guidance from a top race driver.

Is she competitive in IRL?
