The clutch started to slip on my car a couple of weeks back, can anyone tell me what it's gonna cost for a new one?

Cheers

A new clutch is around £500 from AP, factor in about another £300 or so to fit (indie prices).

I'd get them to replace the cylinders as well.

That way, if A seal or a cylinder goes the day after you've bought the clutch, you wont have to pay the £340 labour again.

Not sure what year your car is, but if its an early one, you may have to upgrade the flywheel...£200ish.

Well you don't really have to upgrade the bell housing and slave cyl, if you're clever!

If the fingers on the spring aren't bust, then you can have the plate re-lined at any local clutch motor factor which certainly won't cost 500 quid

IMHO it's probably best to wait 'til they've actually done it and at the price quoted
