Hi all,

I am thinking seriously of buying the mark P666 BYE for my Chimaera. But there are a few things I would like to know, and I was hoping you could help me with.

Do I have to have a rear plate which allows the light through like the ones that come on the car? If I do where can I get them and how much do they cost?

Also, what do you think of the mark? Worth 250 GBP?

Thanks All,

Antony B

Edited to say: What about P400 BYE? Chimaera 400 - P reg... BYE. I think i like that more!

Yes, you need a backlit plate. Otherwise you are at grave risk at getting pulled, especially on a motorway at night. The car stands out a mile.

The only place I could find these plates was a TVR dealer, even the plate specialists in the back of MCN hadn't heard of backlit plates.

The special plates are 16.50 gbp (for the rear only) - and can be made in 24 hours by A.R.E.

I opted for P400 BYE in the end...

Try this for light up plates:

www.fancyplates.com

You can make up different designs, borders e.t.c

My dad made up some plates for his cerb on there about a month ago!

Reasonable price to.
