Leaving a 911 in the street (we don't have a garage!)

Hi Guys

My dads considering an older 911 (ideally a wide body or a turbo replica if i can persuade him!). He's got about £25 - 30k but no space in the garage - is it going to be a problem leaving a 933 outside all year round?

In Brixton yes. In Eaton Square probably not.

No he'll not have a problem with rust. Just regularly clean and polish to protect paintwork

And get a good weather proof cover for it, will also staop any nicks and light scratches, so long as no one nicks it.

My 964 lives outdoors; daily driver too in all weathers. No problems at all.

Ia m thinking of getting one the real quality covers which you can actually lock to your car, they have little locks which you loop through the alloy wheels, so no one nicks it then I don think they are cheap though....good luck with convince your old man to get the car, and when you do please post some pics asap!
