We're mounting electric fans below the intercooler with ambient air ducted from the top.

thats a diifrent place to put the cooler! do you think there will be much heat come up off the exhasut boxes????? why didnt you mount it above the engine???

Im doing Hot Rod Power Tour with Jeff this year (YAY!), so I will finally get to meet him. We're driving from Chicago to Florida in 2 days, then the tour goes from Florida to New Jersey in 7 days. About 3 hours driving every day, the drag races and shows at every stop. This is a great route this year

1300 cars were on the "long haul" list last year ... then there are the cars that join and leave along the way....


We are taking his Cadillac..... no... not a nice highway cruising BOAT that typifies the marque.... this is the 8.2 litre, 497 rear wheel HP, 692 rear wheel ft lbs of torque, nitrous sucking 2002 Car Craft Real Street Eliminator Champion Cadillac.... to win this includes doing driving events - in a Caddie!!

He took the GTR on the Tour in 2002 and got the prize for the most number of tickets on the cruize...

What exhaust boxes? Turbos are mufflers, aren't they?
Difficult to mount the fans under the intercooler with it on top the engine and I like to see the engine. My ram air system, fixed to the inside of the rear bonnet already ducts air right above where my intercooler is now, we have a few tricks to add more air capacity to this. We may take the GTR on Power Tour if Crafty doesn't bring too much baggage.

I second that SWEEEEEEET!!!! I cannot wait to see this monster in person again at the gathering this year. That engine and 'accessories' look great in that engine bay. I really like those valve covers and if I ever save enough to turbo my current car, I may be contacting you to get a set to dress it up some. You guys do some great work there Jeff!

And it was good to run into you at Autorama this year in Detroit! That was a cool show this year.
