12K Cerb - everyday use?
Discussion
Hi there,
I have a budget of 12K. I want a fast sports car that I can use every day for fun and getting to and from work. I want a reliable car. I want a comfortable car. I want an exciting car. I want a car that has reasonable running costs (in relation to its competitors). Iwant a car that looks and feels special.
Do I want a 12K Cerbera?
Thanks and all the best.
Martin.

Reliable Cerbera at £12k? at that price usually need a massive sorting (dog model at that price).
For £12k and reliable - Get Chimp or Porsche 944 Turbo.
Don't think a Cerb' is your car.
How about a nice 300zx, you can get an immaculate example for £5K and have some money to put in your pocket?
If that doesn't do it for you, how about a Chimaera, Elise, VX220, 200sx or MR2? All RWD and great fun.

Edited because I didn't realise how over prised Boxsters were!

My car is for sale at £13500 and I have used that every day for a 70 mile trip to work. It has never let me down on my commute, and only left me stranded when the clutch seals went, now all sorted.
I think there is value to be had in running your car every day, or at least every other day.

If you can afford the running costs.
£3K a year is about the running costs and is what is spent for 6K miles pa (flame suit at the ready). Higher miles and reg use mean the car is happier but COULD mean higher runing costs.

Ditto
Some people have no class! I believe that a labotomy is now obligatory with all 3 series purchases, it's the only way you can explain the arrogance and ignorance of their drivers!

For under £12k and rarer than Chimp.
