TVR friendly audio peeps

Hey all
Just got my car back from Impulse in Watford, they have fitted a VDO Dayton head unit, component speakers in the front along with 6x9's and a 6 disc cd changer in the rear. The install seems to have been done to the highest standard and all the staff there were totally friendly, helpful and really seemed to know their way round TVR's. The only niggle is the speed pulse cable which wouldn't make itself apparent so they are sorting that with TVR on Monday and finishing that off.

Have a quick look to see if they soldered all the connections, or just used crimp connectors. If they didn't solder them, expect problems (mostly due to high currents in the speakers and damp in TVRs).

Picky is good!!! Espec with tivs by the looks of things!!! I will have a nose tommorow in the light.

I've got a very similar setup in the Elise and the sound is very good - the VDO speed/volume function is very good in a loud car.
