Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for the power supply for my Fujitsu M309XDC scanner?

I paid shed loads for this duplex scanner about 4 years ago for a particulat job where I needed a SCSI duplex scanner, used it once for an hour to do the job and then because the OCR software was unstable put it way. I have since moved house and now I have come to try and use it again I can't find the 18v power supply.

Have tried a google but it looks like the jack lead is odd and I may need the exact bit.

Does it tell you the current requirement on the scanner, you may be able to get something from Maplin (and others etc) that may do the job, but given the price of scanners, if you can't find it, you may aswell buy a new scanner as the replacement part will probably cost more.

I feared so. It hurts that £500 of IT is worthless with only one hours use.

We used to have the M3091DC and then went for the 4120C.

I have just replced the M3091 with a 4120 and used the same power supply, so see if you can get the power supply for the newer one.

HTH.

Found the supply in a box in the garage, now don't have the SCSI lead and my new PC doesn't have a SCSI input!
