Picking my new baby at Fernhursts (4.2 S Reg Atlantis Halcyon Cerbera- enough said) 2morrow- hope the nights with disturbed sleep will come to an end, finally- feel like a child when XMAS, Easter and birthday come together- hope to meet you guys out there (and hope to find some sleep this night also....)

I know how you feel!!
I was supposed to pick mine up tomorrow, but need to wait until next Thursday as waiting for a few 'bits' to arrive for it. (My fault not Fernies).
I also feel like a kid waiting for Xmas, have had a Cerby before and am really looking forward to getting back into one!! (Silver 450LW)
I will be at Fernies tomorrow, but if I dont see you all the best and enjoy the car!!

6 weeks ago i bought my dream car (99cerb sp6) drove it for 34 miles over 36 hours and engine blew! so its been off the road at austec for five weeks and now ( and i hasten to add through no fault of austecs, theyve been top notch) i will still be waiting another week or two as theyre waiting for head gaskets!!
talk about dangling a carrot!
However, this is being made worse by the fact that aswell as fixing the existing problem, they are also giving my head and throttle bodies a 'flow job' which will give me around 400bhp(ooer!) putting protech suspension on it, decatting, and fitting a sports exhaust!
so not only am i without the car, i also know that if it were here it would run, handle, and sound better than ever!
i am on the virge of e breakdown!!!

What happened sounds a real pain, however the trade off are the excellent mods that Paul and the team at Austec are doing for you! I reckon that will be one top notch SP6 Cerb when you get it back!!
I am really happy about getting back to a Cerby, IMHO they are the ultimate TVR (regardless of engine type)
ONLY A WEEK TO GO.......................

Got it yesterday- but alas no more sleep- would have meant leaving the car alone or sleep in it 
but as you well know Cerbie 450 and you will know shortly Steve - IT IS WORTH THE WAIT 
...
the day didn´t start that well as I did NOT book a ferry and they would not let me on
(and this is whilst we pobably missed out @ fnhurst's;- cerby 450- nice one by the way, especially the colour combo outside inside) but the ferry issue had a nice payback on the way home, because we got waved on the boat in front of the others and a guy in a nice 911 (sorry mate) completely missed the show when we fired up inside the hold b4 leaving the ferry-- was his car starting 
????--I love these sports cans
Thanks to all the guys @ Fernhurst especially Steve and Carl and I will certainly be back with some pictures when the weather is a bit nicer- what a shame they have been cleaning this thing for two days and now it's raining all the time...
I will catch up with you guys
@ Cooky...Swopped football for chess years ago, better for my blood pressure (and leaves some money to put optimax in the cerb, too)- but could you help me out- who won the EURO '96??? I just know the english became 2nd.- They say every ten years.... well lets have the
anyway....

@Steven- sounds like a real pain- but you seem to get a very special machine indeed- so you make up the time you miss--400 bph awesome...

3 days of cerbera ownership and pouring rain- know @ least that the hydratrack works 
... never had so much power in hand huihui- could be fun though once I am a bit more familiar with it- apart from that also know how TVR electrics work (not) already... hazard lights on the first few minutes after start up(till relay dries??? or automated response to my 
????) as well as interior lights sometimes all the times on, sometimes not at all- that's probably why they where off in the first instance--- still 
best car ever- could burn the sound on CD to take along...
