My 350SE is on a 92 K plate,[21/12/92] is it the newest registered wedge in the country or am I miles off? As far as I know, they stopped making wedges in 91 and any registered after that had been sitting around show rooms etc.

Not that it makes any difference to anything, I am just wondering. I have seen plenty of J plates ones but nothing newer

Mine is number 23 of 25, or 26 depending on how you count. I had looked at and contributed to that thread, but thought someone might know something different.

Wish TreVoR had made a mistake and fitted a 400 motor instead.

There were a few 400SEs unregistered and in dealers showrooms for a while after the Griff was released, as you can imagine with the griff being 3 grand cheaper they were hard to shift, the last one i'm aware of is an L reg green 400 sold at WLA in Kent (former dealership)

My 400 came from WLA in January 1992 I bet they were glad to see the back of it. Me I am glad to see the back, front, side, inside, even underside of it

Why? A 350SE won't be that far off a 400SE if at all, in fact the low-down torque is probably better. Maybe yours just needs setting-up? Don't go believing TVRs power figures, now will you If my 390 made the claimed 275 bhp it'd be my mate looking at my taillights, instead of me looking at those on his Impreza...

Guess I have been reading {and believing} TVR figures. Did wonder though if the power difference could be that much!
Mine has been running a bit rich, sooty plugs, so taking it into a mates garage to probe its pipes with gas anyliser.
