Hi,
Over the last few years, my experience of subscription offers has been ...
TWO: Subscription gift never materialised.
RiDE: First subscription gift never materialised; I complained and was offered a RiDE T-shirt instead; received the T-shirt in completely the wrong size. Cancelled subscription.
RiDE: Subscribed again. Never received subscription gift. Complained and was assured gifet was en route. It never materialised.
Bike: Ditto.
Each time, I subscribed on the very first day of the offer. So I can only conclude that the subscription offers are a sham, especially those from
Emap publications.
Perhaps a complaint to the ASA might be in order

Nice one! Na, they keep fobbing me off.....It'll be tomorrow, then the next day, then next week. It's been a month or so now, and time is running out as I'm off to Spain on the 3rd June, and really need to practice. They keep saying they're waiting for the parts, but the parts they're waiting for weren't on the original estimate.
Can't understand why they'd want to stall...surely they've got other stuff to do......

Surely parts are easily come by now ? Who's doing the work, the main dealer ?
As you said, what a time to be without a bike. Can't they lend you one whilst its in for repair ? My dealer has loan bikes for a few quid a day. May be worth asking the question. Admittedly they ain't new R6's but better than nothing
2nd track day tomorrow. Cadwell again. Weather forecast is bright sunshine all day so hopefully might get rid of the last 'chicken strips' (although wouldn't bet on it).
Hope it all gets sorted soon.

well i sent off the form a couple of days after the april issue came out at the start of march. about 2 months!
EDIT: grr speaking about magazines my Evo didnt turn up this month... now i understand the fury! still they said they'd send out a replacement within 10 days.

You'd think eh? Erm, not a main dealer no.....am I allowed to say who it is on here, if I'm gonna be slagging them off??!!
I might give the dealership a bell and ask if they have something I can borrow, it's driving me mental.
Good luck with the track day, gonna be a glorious day today. If you manage to get any pictures, let us know eh? Praps we'll meet up at Cadwell one day, as I'm due there after the Spain trip with a few people from the club.
