will 4 spare wheels squeeze fit into a boxster?

Mmmm looking for some spare wheels for my motor..

So a quick question (someone must have tried it!) will 4 x 16 inch wheels with tyres fit into a boxster with the roof up?

Assuming use of front boot (spare removed) and passenger area?

Strongly suspect the answer to be no but thought I'd ask to see if anyone has managed it!!

I recently discovered that you can get four GT3 wheels (with tyres) on the rear seats of a BMW 3 series.. BUT they were lying flat with the second wheel / tyre on top of the first on each side. Since you don't have any space in the Boxster to do that, my guess is that you would have to put 2 on the front passenger seat, one in the spare wheel slot and one in the front storage area. If you put both fronts in the passenger seat you might *just& get away with it....

You might get a front wheel in the rear. The 3 others should easily fit in the other storage spots (front boot and pax seat).

Take some string as you will have to tie the front boot lid down as you wont be able to shut it!

Having tried to transport ONE of my RS wheels in the Boxster I came to this conclusion. You can get one wheel in the front and that's about it, if you want to do it safely.

I have tried in may cars to fit four switched tyres, --- it doesn't work and four wheels will certainly not fit in a Boxster, unless you plan to pile all four in a column on the passenger seat ?

If it's just wheels then yes, if they've got tyres on then probably not. Unless you stack 3 high on the pax seat with the roof off.
