Door release button
Discussion
I replaced mine this morning. To test, I removed the door panel, identified the wires; cut them at a joining point and touched the two leading to the door actuator together - if that activates the door actuator, then your button is dead - £15 from TVR dealer.
To fit, remove mirror glass by sliding thin object along base of mirror glass to "open" the catch, then unscrew the three cross head srews which hold the back of the mirror casing in place. This will give you acess to the button, so that you can unscrew and replace. I used a metal coat hanger (suitably bent with pliers into a small hook) to feed the wires of the new button through the mirror housing and into the door interior. Whole job took about 1.5 hours and is fairly straight forward. Good luck
