Just had to move the car out the garage today and thought,suns out,roads dry,lets play.Hasn't been out for 2 months,turned key and first churn fired up and didnt miss a beat.So good to get the toy out and blow the doors off other cars doing 35mph in a de-restricted A4 near Thatcham.The other reason for travelling at the 'sensible' speed was that the side windows wouldnt demist,so had to be the fastest thing out there,so not needing the mirrors.

Good to hear you managed a blast in the sunshine today. The buggy shopping meant I was otherwise occupied, but I had a run last Sunday (I think it was) when we had that sunny day, and it is a great feeling, particularly when you see all the Boxters, MX5s and MGFs with their roofs up - wimps!
All hope is not lost if the S is still in the garage. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that something turns up - have you checked your lottery numbers yet?

I've just noticed your for sale ad and that you live in Thatcham. If you like I could meet up with you one evening and take some pictures of your car and mail them to Ted to attach to your ad if it helps in any way. I'm based in Cold Ash so only just up the road. I guess they will have to be taken at a garage as the flash on the camera is ok but not that great.
I'm full of cold at the moment and away this w/e coming but I'm sure we could arrange something pretty soon.
By the way, did you get your new headlights from somewhere local?

I to went for a spin on Saturday only literally 
gave it a bit to much throttle on a right hand turn and ended up facing in the wrong direction. First time this has happened to me and I had mixed emotions of being scared 
and also excited, fortunately no damage apart from a deaf left ear as the missus was in the car also!
