Red Chim near Arkwright, Chesterfield earlier on at about 5pm. I'm not sure who it was but I recognised it.

Loads of Tivs at the Kit Car Show at Outlon Park today, A few Chims (White, **5 LTR and another Red Chim on the Skid track wotsit) and a very nice looking Sagaris, what is that colour?! (L100 TVR?)

Didn't see any other 'identifiable' PHers but I had the Spank It T-shirt on

Dave.

Not seen you around before the White with combo of those alloys stands out nicely! But I suppose you are from another area with Chester being quite a way from me.

Twas the first time I have ever been round a track yesterday..

Caterham
That was fast, which has now reinforced the idea of buying a Locost for 1st car

I'm persuading my Dad to take one of those TVR trackdays, and i'll take the High Speed passenger ride. He doesn't want to "put his life in someone elses hands".

Dave.

Ah I forgot about that, didn't recognise the bloke that owns it, saw him driving off and flashed the Spank It on the back of my shirt in hope he was a PHer

Could well have been! In that case don't think I did recognise it, were you up around this area then? A long way from home

It's in the locale at the moment, albeit with a different driver at the wheel.

Not me .. I'd have had to have driven faster than the speed of light as i don't think we'd finished eating at 5pm

I think so but I’m slightly embarrassed to say I’m not 100% sure I don’t know too much about the early models. I’ve just been having a search around and the Vixen looks identical to me! Hopefully someone who knows what they are talking about can identify it for certain. It’s a shame it was parked up against the fence, I would have loved to have got a pic of the rear and I didn’t even think to look at the badge/writing on the rear at the time unfortunately. It looked fantastic anyway

I'm fairly certain it's not a Taimar. Have a look on Google Images, look at the bonnet vents and, side vent thingies next to the wheels and the front grill in particular Admittedly, the Grantura, Taimar, Tuscan and Vixen all look similar. Put tvr tuscan v6 or tvr vixen into Google Images and tell me that those pics are not a better match than a Taimar

edit to add - just seen your edit

My REAL guess that is..

I say it because there was an advert selling the car in the back and i'm 99% certain it said Taimar on it!! Hmm...

hmmm...the plot thickens. All we can do is pray the owner is on here or someone can put us straight. I just know this is going to bug me until I know for sure
