997 Update - when is it happening?

What have other pistonheaders heard about when the 997 facelift will come out? I have heard 2 conflicting reports from different porsche people - 1 saying mid 2004, the other saying '2004 model year' which usually means the updates will be finished by the end of this year. Anybody got anything different?

as I understand it the Carrera 2 will be the first (as usual), coming out as 2004 model, which will be late August 2003.
