Unable to log on to incoming pop3 server?

For no apparent reason this morning I cannot log on to either of my incoming pop3 servers at my PC although other PCs on the network can?

Nothing has changed and it says to look at the advanced settings in Outlook, these are as always and the same as other PCs.

Where do I start looking?

Edited to add :- It all works fine when I add my address to anothre PC, no errors at all, so has something got corrupted on my PC? I've re-installed Outlook to no avail?

Local Firewall I'd say (or a virus)

Try disabling your firewall temporarily.

also, try this from a Dos Prompt

telnet yourhostname.com 110

see what reply you get.
