planning to buy - any info on these

have been looking around for a cerbie and have found 2 one of which i have test drove ( fantastic, even the missus agreed). Have been reading the forums a lot lately and wondered what with it being such a small community if anyone new anything about these 2 cars

p366 awy silver with red interior 4.2 apparently the one clarkson used to race a jet?
r488 phg blue with blue and cream interior dont have a lot of history though

any info would be much appreciated

I've got that TopGear magazine infront of me, not Clarkson but one of the journo's in as you say a silver 4.2 with red leather race a Tornado. Different plate though "B16 AJP" but I suppose that was snapped up long ago but seems like it could be the same car.

yeah sorry got the reg wrong, its sold now anyway, but the blue one is still available if anyone know anything about it?

Reg of the silver TVR was P377 AWY. I think the reg qouted in the mag was one of the private plates it had previously - i know this because i put a deposit on it today (sorry travelling man). If anyone does have any info on the car can they please let me know before i exchange my hard earned cash on Saturday!.

i took it for a drive on saturday and it is awesome, giles stikes me as a very easy guy to do business with, not the normal second hand car sales person!
how long have you been looking for one?
