Opposite handed bonnet catch

Does anyone know if there is a reversed bonnet catch that will fit on the Griffith?

I can no longer fit the standard catch cable in the car - it fouls on the new fuel pressure regulator. It is also a silly bit of design - pulling one way to make the bonnet catch move the other... It seems designed to break the cable if you ask me.

I currently have modified the catch to fit on the car backwards and I find this a big improvement, but it doesn't look nice - too many big washers acting as shims... If there was a near mirror image catch I could use this would be nice and easy.

Failing that, I'm going to have to fabricate something make the old catch better. Something like a wheel for the cable to go round or a bell crank arrangement.
