Hi

I need a bit of help and I reckon you guys will prob have the answer to some of these questions.

I want to buy a BMW 325 TDS. I'm looking at the saloon, either auto or manual and hopefully in SE trim.

Is there anything I should look out for?
Is there anything I should know?
What is the difference in SE and normal trim?
Does the armrest come as part of SE trim?
Does air con or climate control come as part of SE trim?
Has anybody put a chip on it? What brand and what was it like?
What mileage did you have when you put it on? I've heard that chipping it with 100k+ is bad news

Sorry for all the questions but I'm having problems getting definitive answers

Thanks!

Great cars, loads of torque.
Suspension bushes are a favourite to go on them
Se normally has the computer, fancy trim, and generally an arm rest although not guaranteed.
Aircon - not usually unless especially requested.
Chips - haven't got a clue, never done it.

Mileage - They go forever (as long as serviced correctly)

Thanks for the reply. From the sounds of it I'm definitely doing to get an SE then. Do you know how much it costs to replace the suspension bushes? From what I've heard so far they seem pretty bulletproof.
