TVR or Golf vr32 or other - HELP

Please help me

I got rid of my Tuscan last year (Lost about £10K in 18 months), sold cos wife expecting first child. Running around in MX5 for now and Wife has mazda 6.

I intended to sell the TVR (run around in the MX5) then get a sensible car but with a bit of power (eg Golf vr32, Focus ST etc). Then I decided that i missed the TVR so started looking at a replacement Tuscan (Mk1 on 54 plate all lined up)

What should I do? Heart = TVR, Head says maybe TVR but probably other sensible thing.

Hello Guys

Im a new member to the forum and have recently decided that I would like to have a project TVR Tuscan or T350. What I mean by that is Im looking for a Cat D to repair. Is this just plain crazy? I need help and advice on where to be looking for TVR that need TLC.

Indeed. I got four kids so it's:

Toyota MPV for family business
BMW 330 for work
The wife's got a Mini Cooper S for when the kids are at school
I've got a Tiv for weekends.

It is most certainly possible to have one's cake and to eat it!

Funny how that happens isn't it. I've had my Tusc just over a month and already don't know how I got this far without 1 !! cant imagine ever wanting to sell it ( until the sagaris enters my price range).

We have a little 5yr old and another one on the way. I've got 3 Bikes & TVR. All the misses needs is the astra.

As said you have a sensible car already, the MX5 is just as practical as the Tuscan so GO FOR IT. You know you have made your mind up already, just think summers on its way, dry roads, sunsets...

One of my cars is a Golf V5 (ok not the big power job but its still fun) - it drives like a gokart , outhandles every other hot hatch on the road and has lots of toys. But as soon as the sun comes out it sits in the corner getting dusty. You will never be happy in a golf having had a TVR no matter how big its engine.
