...if one were (hypothetically of course) considering selling a 911, (lets say its a 99 c4 thats done 57k and just had its service)(in this hypothetical example), and that car was featured in EVO magazine and shown to be quite quite lovely, how much do you think it might be worth?

Would this have anything to do with the "year of the pig" thread?

Have you got copies of the Evo article and are you allowed to publish it?

£27-£30K...I have just bought a 99C4 X51, sports exhaust, GT3 wheels, sunroof, sat nav, gt3 skirts, computer, etc. and paid in that range. OPC check was not glowing so may need to tweek the cost slightly.

As with anything you will get 99 for as low as 24K but condition and history is everything. Some real dogs of 996s floating around.

Pretty much concurr with prices......every dealer has earlyish 996 available for 29,995

On the basis they will never sell at 30k....i assume they would take 29k.......need 3k to pay for zymol etc..... so reckon it's worth 26k trade to the right dealer on a good day......if he has 5 cars already up at 30k,,,,he will probably bid lower.

So anything above 26k on a private sale can't be too bad???

The Evo thing may help a sale, as a talking point,,,,but I don't know if it actually adds anything to the price...if that makes sense!
I add that as someone who had and sold a 968CS that was front cover and several pages inside.

As ever Paul's on the money. Also as your one has got the Carlos Fandango wheels and louder chimney you may even be able to squeeze a buyer for a few more £££s but only if you wash it
