Maserati Norabatty or de Tomato Pantaloon?
Discussion
I am considering getting one as a summery/weekend toy and long term tart up project.
The Pantera I can see as being cheaper to maintain with it's easy to tweak and service engine, but I feel the Bora has more pedigree and in the long run would make a better investment.
I have seen a Bora that is of potential interest, though I am yet to find a Pantera to my liking.
Anyone with any experience of either or...???
Cheers in advance.
PS Or do I need me head examining

Probably!.
But we'll all derive tremendous satisfaction from hearing about your trials and tribualtions!
Good Luck!
Oh - If it was me it would be the Pantera every time (in Lime Green preferably!) - The Massers hydraulics would scare the life out of a NASA scientist!

Dunno about lime green. Errr... thinking more dark blue or black!
I would prefer a Maserati as a long term investment but I reckon the Pantera would be a better car.
You should try them both - I think the contemporary view was that the Bora was a much better, properly sorted car. Clearly today it would depend on the specific car and how it`s been looked after. I`ve been in a good Bora and a bad Pantera - the Maser` seemed substantially more solid, resolved and pleasant.
The Citroen hydraulics are nothing to be frightened of - they are unconventional but, in reality, they`re pretty straighforward and very reliable when in good order.

Get a Bora Didds. I was a member of the Maser Owners Club at 12 yrs old (ok, so I lied...shoot me!). Fell in love with a Merakk SS way back. When my numbers come in and Im as rich as you I will have a clasic Maser in the garage
Both having cerbs and a liking for Maseratis, I am becoming more than a little concerned that we have similar tastes, coz you're a :homo:

the acid green Koenigsegg isn't bad either! (not my colour of choice but it suits it well enough!)

it's shame there wasn't a few more tivs there!
